Valentijn Hamel graduated from Willem de Kooning in 2020, with a degree in Arts & Education.

He is currently mostly occupied with workshops, dragshows, graphic design, comics,costumes, art installations and making comedy songs about being trans.

He approaches everything he does both from the standpoint of a teacher, as well as queer man, who holds both solidarity and humor high in his regard.
